Subject:-      Committee for approval of Fee Structure and Committee for Admissions in private medical institutions.

As As per the Supreme Court judgment in Islamic Academy of Education Vs. State of Karnataka ((2003) 6 Supreme Court Cases 697) dated 14/8/2003,  it is necessary to appoint two Committees- Committee for approval of Fee Structure and Committee for Admissions in private medical institutions in the State of Punjab headed by a retired Judge of the High Court.  The Government of Punjab in the Department of General Administration (General Co-ordination Branch) vide No. 18/23/04-G.C.(5)/4851 dated 17th May, 2004 has appointed Mr. Justice G.R.Majithia (Retd.) to head the  two Committees.

2.  Now as per the recommendation of the Hon’ble Mr. Justice G.R. Majithia (Retd.) the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute these two Committees as follows:-
