Subject: Corrigendum-IV in regard to Admissions to General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) and Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife (ANM) Training Course – 2004.

1.      This is in continuation of letter No.2/90/04-6HBIII/3617, dated 5/7/2004 and corrigendum issued vide letter No.2/90/04-6HB-III/ 4173-77(Corrigendum I), dated 25/7/2004, No.2/90/04-6HB-III/4467 dated 11/8/2004 (Corrigendum-II) and No.2/90/04-6HBIII/5224, dated 3/9/2004.

2.      The following amendments are made in the Notification through this corrigendum:

(1)      Para 2.1 Eligibility for Admissions – (a) Fresh Candidates – (ii) Minimum Qualifications

          Para 3.1 Eligibility For Admission- (b) Minimum Qualifications
 

          “The words (40% for SC/ST/BS) shall be substituted for the words (40% for SC/ST) where occurring in the above paras”.

(2)      Para 3.1(a) would be substituted with the following:

          “Age:    The candidate shall be 16 years or more and 35 years or less on 31/12/2004 i.e. the candidate should have been born between 31/12/1969 and 31/12/1988.

(3)      In the list of recognised/approved GNM institutions for the session 2004-05 placed at Annexure A of the notification dated 5/7/2004, the following shall be substituted:

Ferozepur District (Sr.No.16) Sardar Patel Education Society: The number of seats allowed for 2004-05 would be read as 60 in placed of 45 since the institute has constructed its own building.

Ludhiana District (Sr.No.36) Swami Vivekanand Education Society:  The number of seats allowed for the session 2004-05 would be read as 60 in place of 30 since the institute has constructed its own building.

Ludhiana District ( Sr.No.27) G.T.B.Hospital:  The number of seats allowed for the session 2004-05 would be read as 60 in place of 55 since the institute has completed its hostel building.
